Babymetal announce 2019 US tour, unleash new song “Elevator Girl”
Japanese pop-metal sensations Babymetal will take over the United States this fall with a headlining tour in support of their as-yet-untitled album coming later this year. Moreover, they’ve released the new single “Elevator Girl”.
The 20-date trek, which will be the band’s first-ever full-scale headlining U.S. tour, kicks off September 4th in Orlando, Florida, and runs through an October 16th show in Seattle, Washington. Including a stop in Portland, Oregon at the Roseland Theater on October 15th. Swedish metal act Avatar will serve as support through the October 4th show in San Francisco. The last two gigs will feature the Mongolian heavy metal band The HU as opening act. The HU brings their Mongolian heritage into the music by using traditional Mongolian instruments and a Mongolian way of “throat singing.”
This is a show you DO NOT want to miss!!! The MIRP crew has seen Babymetal before and can honestly tell you, they put on one hell of a show and will blow your mind! Any expectations you have for Babymetal will be blown out of the water.
